Giants Fans

I’ve got nothing against most Giants fans. The majority of them just love to watch their favorite team play their favorite sport in a beautiful park at an elite level. To those fans, have a great season and enjoy your trophies because the drought is coming and it can be long and agonizing.

No, the Giants fans I speak of are another type. They’re the type that are going to be obnoxious during the bridge series in September. If the Giants are 20 games under .500 in September we’ll have to endure a barrage of “three in five” heckles (as if they’ve forgotten that our 4 in 47 beats their 3 in 57) and if the Giants are in first place we’ll have to suffer through a litany of “quest for four” comments. It’s going to suck.

At best, their team is good and at worst they’re lucky but this particular Giants fan who will, undoubtedly, show up in the right field bleachers during the third inning, make a big drunk entrance and alienate the brave A’s fan friends that allowed him to come with them, still beleives that the current lineup of Giants is the best that ever was.

Sorry guys. 1927 Yankees, 1973 A’s, 1974 A’s, 1989 A’s…those were all better teams. Please sober up and just watch the game like a normal person.

Who have I missed? I’m sure there are several players that you hate personally (Rodney and his arrow come to mind) . Let me know who they are in the comments below.
