Billy Butler: After 10 years with the KC Royals we can be excited to have acquired this loyal and talented player. We all remember his contributions in the 2014 Wild Card game that eliminated Oakland. He helped KC reach World Series last year and we are excited to watch him do the same for Oakland this year! Butler is a solid hitter coming off a down season that just wasn’t enough to get KC to resign. While last year wasn’t his season, lets remember 2012 when he batted .313 with 29 Home Runs and 107 RBI’s. He made All Star team that year. The talent is clearly there and his fresh start with the A’s is motivation for him to channel it. He says at 28 years old he has not reached the other side of his career yet and he takes pride in getting back to where he was. We will love rooting him on as he reaches these goals.
