The Oakland A’s have had the ‘For Sale’ sign hanging out front all year. Those sales should start to pick up soon.

While Frankie Montas and Sean Murphy have received the most attention in trade rumors, they are not the only players that could be on the move. Robert Murray of FanSided.com speculated that Ramon Laureano and Chad Pinder could both be elsewhere once the trade deadline is over.

Oakland A’s could get plenty of interest in pair of outfielders

Pinder has made sense as a trade candidate although the A’s reportedly had not been entertaining offers for him. As an impending free agent, there is no reason for the A’s to hang on to him, especially as they are unlikely to offer anything close to a reasonable contract to retain his services after this year.

However, his ability to play different positions and decent enough pop will make him an attractive target. The Padres have already been regarded as a possibility, especially due to Bob Melvin’s presence on the bench, but Murray has a different team in mind. He feels that the Braves would be a great fit, especially with their need for help in left field after Adam Duvall underwent season ending surgery.

Laureano is another player that could be heading to a National League team. While there are plenty of teams that could use the A’s outfielder, he cites the Brewers as potentially the best fit given their needs in center field and his budget friendly salary. Add in his additional years of team control, and he could be a perfect fit in Milwaukee.

As the trade deadline is fast approaching, speculation will be ramping up. Several players on the A’s are going to start coming up in rumors, while those who already have trade winds swirling will be caught up in a hurricane. Those rumors should eventually sweep up a couple of players that talks have been silent about in Laureano and Pinder.
