With just a few days before the 2023 MLB Entry Draft and the upcoming All-Star Futures Game coming next July 8, MLB Pipeline released a new, updated Top 100 Prospects list on Sunday, June 25. And two players from the Oakland A's organization made the cut.

According to Sam Dykstra's explanation, the new list features changes based on "prospects who made the biggest leaps or drops" while MLB also "removed some from the list and added those who have captured our attention through the first half of the 2023 Minor League season."

While the folks from MLB weren't overly impressed by players belonging to the A's major and minor league teams through the past few weeks and months, two members of the Oakland farm system found their way into the top 100 prospects currently part of MLB's curated list.

MLB unveiled a new no.1 prospect in Baltimore Orioles' shortstop Jackson Holliday, who overtook Elly De La Cruz (Cincinnati Reds' infielder) on his way to the top stop and also trumped Jackson Chourio, the prior no. 1 player in the list.

As far as A's players go, the club was good to rank Tyler Soderstrom (1B/C) 37th overall and Mason Miller (RHP) in the 83rd position.

While Soderstrom is still playing Triple-A ball at Las Vegas with the Aviators, Mason Miller has already made his major league debut and became part of the starting rotation of the A's during a brief span of time covering the final days of April and the start of May.

Miller started four games with the A's earlier this season, pitching a total of 21.1 innings getting between four and seven full innings on work at different points. He got demoted back to AAA boasting a 3.38 ERA to go with an 0-2 record.

Soderstrom is considered the best prospect in the A's system and he's currently slashing .255/.302/.526 with the Aviators in 268 PA while having walked 17 times and hit 16 homers through 61 games up to Saturday, June 24.
