The Oakland Athletics showcased their offensive prowess against the Chicago White Sox on Friday, beating the hosts for the second time in as many games and getting a once-in-a-lifetime 12-4 victory that we're still trying to process.

Ryan Noda led the A's offensive splurge going 3-for-5 including bagging a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored. A's phenom Zack Gelof provided support with a crucial RBI and a run scored, adding more numbers to his already gaudy career stats.

Seth Brown's contributions in the right field, though brief, were impactful, scoring a run in just three at-bats.

Brent Rooker, the designated hitter for the Athletics yesterday, made his presence felt with a noteworthy performance that included two hits and a run scored. The left field was manned by Tony Kemp, who went a perfect 3-for-3, including two runs scored and a walk.

Behind the plate, catcher Shea Langeliers displayed both his defensive prowess and baserunning abilities, stealing second base and scoring one run while also getting one hit in four attempts.

Youngster Lawrence Butler got the start in center field and contributed a hit, a run scored, and an RBI. Jonah Bride's performance bolstered the Athletics' offensive onslaught with another hit, a run scored, and three RBIs.

Nick Allen had himself a day for the ages and emerged as the MVP of Friday's lowly-team battle with a 4-for-5 hitting performance, including a home run, five RBIs (first time in his career), and two runs scored.

Zach Neal started on the mound for the A's and won his first MLB game in seven years, which is most definitely not a typo. He did it pitching five full innings of five-hits, two-runs, two-strikeouts ball for his franchise.

Sean Newcomb and Francisco Perez would follow suit and put the Sox to bed both getting a couple of innings each with the latter allowing one hit.
