Few people have faith in the Oakland Athletics, but for the time being, they're undefeated.

The A's took on Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday and came away with the slim 2-1 lead. After a break on Friday, the two teams will face-off in Oakland against on Saturday.

The A's will get a chance to trot out their new acquisition, Shintaro Jujinami, who will be making his MLB debut after spending years playing professional baseball in Japan. He'll face off against Patrick Sandoval of the Angels.

So, how should we handle betting on this game? Let's take a peak at the odds and then I'll break down my best bet.

Angels vs. Athletics prediction and pick

The UNDER hit by a mile in their first meeting and I'll bet on a similar outcome in the second one.

Don't underestimate Shintaro Fujinami from Japan. The 28-year old has dominated Japanese leagues for years. In 2022, he boasted a 2.77 ERA in 25 games across the Japan Central League and Japan Western League. His Spring Training performance with the A's was also promoising, sporting a 3.86 ERA in 18.2 innings pitched, while notching 20 strikeouts.

Meanwhile, Patrick Sandoval is also an underrated arm in the Angels' rotation. people forget he boasted a 2.91 ERA in 27 starts last season, yet few people talked about him.

This has all the making of a pitchers duel, especially with how poor the two offenses looked on Openin Day.

With the total at 8.0, give me the UNDER on Saturday.
