The Oakland Athletics wrapped up their time in Arizona with a victory against the Los Angeles Angels this afternoon, winning by a score of 11-5.

The A's spread the offense around today, with nine different players combining for 13 hits. Prospect Colby Thomas had three hits on the day, including an RBI triple in the bottom of the 6th.

Outfielder Hoy Park continued his hot streak with a two hit day, including a double off Luis Garcia in the second. Park is now hitting .500 during spring training and has an 1.190 OPS.

We received news that Miguel Andujar will miss time due to a meniscus injury and it's possible that opens a door for Park to make his first major league appearance since 2022.

He's not currently on the 40-man roster and it's likely that Lawrence Butler is ahead of him on the depth chart. But the way Park has been hitting this spring makes you wonder whether David Forst might opt for the positional versatility that Park offers.

Righty Ross Stripling had a solid outing today, going four innings and allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. He struck out three and dropped his spring ERA to 8.38.

The Athletics will get another day off tomorrow as they travel back to Oakland to prepare for the Bay Bridge series against the San Francisco Giants. The two teams will face off in a two game series, playing in Oakland on Monday before heading to Oracle Park for a Tuesday night matchup.

Athletics' fan groups have been working on staging boycotts, both at the Oakland Coliseum and at Oracle Park due to the Giants letting long time PA announcer Renel Brooks-Moon go earlier this month.

As of now, the Athletics are planning on having lefty JP Sears start on Monday evening, while righty Paul Blackburn is set to take the mound on Tuesday. Monday's game is set to start at 6:40 pm PST.
