Jose Canseco tells Aaron Judge where to find him for challenge
Jose Canseco is still trying to get Aaron Judge to notice him.
Canseco had issued a challenge to Judge after the 2022 season, claiming that he could hit a softball further than Judge can hit a baseball. Surprisingly, there was no response. Canseco reiterated his challenge, saying that the contest could be for charity while including a video of him in the batting cage. Crickets.
Jose Canseco issues challenge to Aaron Judge once more
Maybe the problem was that Judge could not find Canseco to take him up on his challenge. After all, Canseco's petrol station is a closely guarded secret - it is not as though he does not plug its whereabouts at every given moment. As such, Canseco has decided to let Judge know where he can be found as he will be at Travis Scott's celebrity softball game in Houston on February 16.
There is just one problem with that date. Judge will be getting ready for spring training at that point. He is either going to be in Tampa or on his way there. Getting to Houston as he is starting to ramp up for the start of the regular season just may not work.
Maybe Canseco can find a way around that. He was a member of the Yankees for 37 games in 2000 as they sought a power bat to help their push to the postseason. And he did win a World Series ring in his time in New York. Maybe he can convince the organization to let him on the diamond for a day or two as a "guest instructor."
And maybe then Canseco can slide his challenge in. Maybe he can wheedle his way into the Yankees batting practice queue, getting those softballs while Judge hits baseballs. It may be more likely to happen than his continued pursuit of Jennifer Lopez or his quest to fight Alex Rodriguez...
Jose Canseco is still trying to get Aaron Judge to agree to a home run distance contest. Maybe letting him know his whereabouts will make that happen.
