Recently, the Oakland Athletics changed their Triple-A affiliation to the Nashville Sounds. This move occurred after the Sacramento River Cats filed to end their affiliation with the Athletics, and then became the affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Many A’s and River Cats fans were disappointed, outraged, and upset. Instead of dwelling on what we lost, let us focus on what we gained.

The Sounds are opening a brand new stadium in 2015, and the A’s Triple-A players will have the opportunity to play the inaugural season at First Tennessee Park. The Sounds have released their 2015 schedule, and their inaugural game will take place on April 17, 2015. You may be interested in their schedule if you live closer to Nashville than Oakland, are planning any vacations in 2015, or just care when the Sounds will play the River Cats.
