The 2015 World Series – Choose Your Own Adventure

Reddick stood at the plate in the first inning, with the game already in the A’s favor by 9 runs, and swung at the second ball he saw. Line drive to center. Reddick ran hard, tripped over first base and rolled right into the visiting team’s dugout. As he was carried off the field, he found Jennifer in the crowd and exclaimed,
“This is on you, woman! Devil woman! I played hard for you and this is how I’m rewarded! Devil woman!”
As it turns out, “devil woman” was a pretty common insult for Josh Reddick as he’d also accused the girl at Starbucks of being a devil woman when she put three shots of espresso into his two shot mocha.
Reddick’s injuries were serious but his recovery was fast and after only a few weeks, he was able to join his team in their hunt for a World Series berth. Reddick, seemingly bionic upon his return, went on to have the best season of his career and apologized to Jennifer every time he saw her at a game.
