Special Notes:
The Oakland Athletics seem to believe 7 is a lucky number because they have scored that many runs in a game for three straight nights in Texas and managed their second series win of the season. Stephen Vogt had his second multiple homer night of his career/this season and Reddick smashed his fourth of the season and continues a career high 11 game hitting streak.
To further that point, Reddick is batting .500 with one K in the past 11 games and has an OBP of .568 with 15 RBIs. Not too shabby.

Sonny Gray had something of a shaky outing issuing 7 walks but he also managed 10 strike outs and no earned runs. As Stephen Vogt said, even when he’s not pitching well, he’s better than most. Gray’s ERA has settled at a passable 1.67.
The lone earned run of the night came at the hands of the bullpen who, in 2.1 innings, had two hits, two walks and three strike outs.
